
September 30, 2013: Just as the food-based holidays are probably promoted by the companies that sell those foods, I bet Mud Pack Day is promoted by some sort of spa or cosmetics company. I myself prefer the clear masks that firm up and then you peel them off. They just look really cool. It’s also Blasphemy Day, a holiday encouraging free expression and/or criticism of religion. On the complete flip side of seriousness, Chewing Gum Day celebrates William Wrigley Jr.’s birthday way back in 1861. Is there a difference between “chewing gum” and “bubble gum”? I’m not sure. Maybe that’s my entry for Ask a Stupid Question Day.
