September 27, 2013: Save the Koala Day is the last Friday of September every year, celebrating one of Australia’s many fascinating and unique beasties. (Do people still call it a koala bear? So totally not a bear.) And since koalas shouldn’t drink alcoholic beverages, this one’s enjoying a tall, cold glass for Chocolate Milk Day. I can add chocolate milk to the long and shocking list of commonplace things I’ve never eaten/drank. It always vaguely disturbed me, and I can’t quite explain why.
