October 4, 2013: I had to decide which was creepier — a giant taco eating a cinnamon roll, or a giant cinnamon roll eating a taco. Pretty much a toss-up, if you ask me. Cinnamon Roll Day is also known as Kanelbullens Dag, a Swedish celebration, so head over to your local IKEA and grab one of their delicious-looking buns. I probably won’t partake in Vodka Day, as I’m more of a rum or bourbon type when it comes to the hard spirits. But I might just saunter out to our local Tijuana Flats for Taco Day. World Smile Day was created by Harvey Ball, the guy who first brought us the iconic yellow smiley face, and has the motto: “Do an act of kindness. Help one person smile!” (Hint: giving them a cinnamon roll, some vodka, or a taco will probably achieve that goal.)
