There are a gajillion chocolate-based holidays (especially in the near future: December has a ton) but this is plain old, straight-up National Chocolate Day. No modifiers, no mix-ins, just plain old chocolate. Count me in!
The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on this day back in 1886. The exact same day in history also marks the first ever ticker-tape parade! (Ah, ticker tape. An artifact of a bygone era.)
And last but not least: those chocolate-dipped Mickey ice cream bars are one of the things I’ll miss most about Disney World.
