October 28, 2013: So there are a LOT of chocolate-based days, including Chocolate Day in July and International Chocolate Day in September. This one is National Chocolate Day, and it fits pretty nicely right before Halloween, one of the more chocolate-intensive holidays of the year. Personally, my taste buds did a big changeover in the last five years; I used to love the milk chocolate, but now it tastes wrong to me, and dark chocolate is where it’s at.

It’s also Plush Animal Lover’s Day, which could be taken a couple of ways. I’ve gone the more pure, innocent route here. So give Mr. Bun a bar of chocolate, and have a great day!
