October 20, 2013: The World Association of Chefs Societies came up with International Chefs Day to celebrate chefs around the world; it may be my exposure to TV shows like Top Chef, but I figured the clearest way to indicate this chef is not American is to give them a small, dapper mustache. He’s also a banana, and he’s also getting soused on brandy, in order to celebrate Brandied Fruit Day. I’ll add brandied fruit to the list of things I’ve never eaten. Heck, anything flambée — never had it. I’ve also never had brandy, but that may change in the near future. Give me time, I only started drinking wine this year.
