I’ve been a restaurant server, and I never want to do it again. That is some hard work! Waitstaff bust their buns for customers, and sometimes get nothing but grief in return. And their pay depends on those customers’ moods, at least here in the USA where servers are mostly in tipped roles. So next time you’re out to eat, make sure you take care of your server for taking care of you.
