A little something fun to celebrate every day!

June 30, 2014: Meteor Day; Social Media Day

June 30, 2014: Today is both Meteor Day and Social Media Day, a combination which I’d like to combine into the one superholiday: “Social Meteor Day.” No? Oh well. Meteor Day marks this day back in 1908, when a meteor crashed into Siberia, in something called either the “Siberian Explosion” or the “Tunguska Event”. The meteor struck with “an estimated power 1,000 times greater than the atomic bomb dropped over Hiroshima” … which is pretty bad-ass. Social Media Day is brought to us by the folks at Mashable, and apparently there will be events all over. Me, I’ll just stick to blogging and tweeting and Facebooking and stuff, in my own little introvert bubble.

Oh, and let this doodle be a lesson to you. Don’t tweet and fly! You could plummet through the atmosphere and crash into a perfectly harmless planet.
