June 22, 2014: We’re all about foods today, celebrating both National Chocolate Éclair Day and National Onion Rings Day. I feel like this doodle kind of mirrors the doughnut throwing a yo-yo through its own hole back on June 6th. In today’s episode of Food Confessions, I’ll tell you that while I’ve had onion rings galore in the past, I’ve never had a chocolate éclair. Primarily because of the whipped cream-ish filling. Even if it’s a custard cream, it’s still a texture I can’t handle. (If I want a doughnut-type object with a flavorful icing on it, I’ll go for a maple bar instead.)
