If I only had to weed my garden one day a year, I’d be a happy camper. Weeding is a constant process. Since I’m scheduling this post in early May, I can’t know for sure, but I’ll bet that by the time June 13 rolls around, most of my garden will be pretty darned wilted and sad. Arizona, I hear, is not kind to summer gardens. But I get to look forward to planting things in the early fall and then all throughout the winter.
Also: this cupcake lover looks pretty suave, but I’m not sure I’d appreciate it if he/she made me a meal of just carrots.
UPDATE: We’re over 100 degrees every day now (with a few days up in the hundred-teens) and my garden is doing great! New growth on everything. It’ll be interesting to see how it does through July and August.
