July 31, 2013: OK, I’m definitely revealing my general age here, because as soon as I saw that it was Mutts Day, I knew I had to draw Muttley. He was a highlight of those way-out Wacky Races back when I was wee. As for Uncommon Instruments Awareness Day, this little fella is called a melodica, and it’s a pretty fun cheap instrument. It sounds like a combination between a harmonica and an accordion, and plays like a tiny piano that you blow into.
