July 20, 2014: I’m always happy to support new, up-and-coming weird holidays. For instance, International Cake Day only started in 2011, as a way to promote worldwide peace and unity. I don’t quite get how cakes fit into that, but what the heck. Cakes, comrades! Space Exploration Day is trying to get signatures on a petition to make it an official holiday, honoring the day back in 1969 when man first set foot on the moon. That very same event is the source for Moon Day, so I guess the day is already kind of covered?
(The Portal 2 player in me just keeps thinking: SPAAAAAAACE!)
