July 2, 2014: Happy I Forgot Day! Don’t worry if you forgot to get decorations and such for the holiday. This holiday is supposedly about making up for forgotten birthdays, anniversaries, or other special occasions. But really, why not address those things when you remember them? I don’t know if I can get behind waiting until July to acknowledge that you forgot something in December, for example.
It’s also World UFO Day. The holiday has a website, and I’m surprised to say, it’s not as crazy as I expected it to be. I don’t know if I believe in UFOs or not. I guess I’m kind of a UFO agnostic, if that’s a thing. Show me a little grey alien, and I’ll definitely come over to the side of believers.
(Today is also National Anisette Day, which I point out merely for the Food Confessions record. It’s an alcoholic spirit that tastes like black licorice, so nope, never had it, never will.)
