A little something fun to celebrate every day!

January 31, 2014: Chinese New Year (Horse); Backward Day; Justin Timberlake's Birthday

January 31, 2014: Happy Chinese New Year! The time of the Snake is behind us, and the year of the Horse is beginning today. (I myself am a Rat; we won’t be in power again until 2020.) The date varies from year to year, as it’s the second new moon after the Winter Solstice (falling sometime between January 21 and February 20). So it’ll be many years before we can once again combine it with Justin Timberlake’s Birthday (turning a ripe old 33 today). In just 33 short years, he’s managed to bring sexy all the way back. (And I applaud how well-dressed he is most of the time.) It’s also Backward Day, so turn things around and enjoy them from a whole new angle.

(Someone pointed out that since it’s going to be the Year of the Horse, the Broncos will win the Super Bowl over the Seahawks on Sunday. To that I say, first off, American football, meh. But secondly, NO.)
