January 12, 2014: Yes, I know that Marzipan is actually ground almonds (with sugar), but to draw it in its unshaped form, it’d be a plain ol’ blob. I figured I could get away with a whole almond pharmacist for Marzipan Day and National Pharmacist Day. My first personal experience with marzipan was on my 19th birthday. My college dorm-mates bought me a naughty cake, with naughty things sticking out of it. Total class! I’ve never attempted to create anything out of marzipan myself, but I have made my own fondant out of marshmallows to decorate a cake, and that was just plain delicious. I highly recommend it.
