December 5, 2013: Today’s Bathtub Party Day falls squarely into the category of “who came up with this crazy holiday?”. I don’t know if I’m supposed to have friends over to join me in my bathtub, or just take a luxurious bath by myself instead of the usual quick shower. It’s also International Day of the Ninja, celebrating those who you rarely ever see, but who are always there.
Today also marks Repeal Day — the day in United States history where the 21st Amendment was ratified back in 1933, once again allowing the sale of alcohol that had been made illegal by the 18th Amendment back in 1920. And yet even today, the government keeps proposing to make this food or that drink illegal. Haven’t they learned?
