December 25, 2013: Christmas Day; National Pumpkin Pie Day

December 25, 2013: Like I said yesterday with Christmas Eve, there’s nothing obscure or weird about Christmas Day (well, I guess weirdness is relative, depending on your relatives). It’s also National Pumpkin Pie Day, which I’ve tried once, and don’t need to eat again. And again, Scott loves the stuff. I have, however, made pumpkin cheesecake, and it’s pretty tasty. It’s a lot more dense than most pies, which have a texture I can’t handle.

Today’s undrawn holiday is No L Day, also known as A’phabet Day. No-L, get it? On Christmas? Yeah, if you find it as funny as I did, you can understand why I didn’t want to draw it in there. It’s apparently a holiday made up by the same team of wise guys as “Lumpy Rug Day”. [insert eyeroll here]
