Ah, the clip on tie, invented on this day in 1928. I don’t believe I’ve ever worn one, though I liked to wear ties when I was in high school (what can I say, it was the ’80s). I learned to tie a simple Four-In-Hand, which has served me well. When Scott worked in jobs that had a tie as part of the uniform, he was a fan of the Pratt — nice and even, with a well-centered dimple. Though looking at this page of knots, I’m clearly behind the times. The Eldredge looks amazing!
