April 26, 2014: Is it in the Pooh Corner canon that Eeyore was born on April 26? Who knows. All I know is, the wonderful weirdos in Austin, Texas celebrate today as Eeyore’s Birthday, which is a big fun-looking even for charity. Even poor sad Eeyore might be able to get behind that. It’s also National Pretzel Day, and at least one pretzel store is offering freebies today. It’s possible that others are, too, so get out to your local mall and harass those poor employees for a free chunk of wonderful, salty dough.
