
I used to not think much about pinhole photography, until I saw the documentary Tim’s Vermeer, in which an ordinary guy with no artistic talent whatsoever created a spot-on copy of a Vermeer painting using a large camera obscura setup (just like pinhole photography, but with a small lens in the pinhole). It was fascinating as heck, and I highly recommend.
