April 10, 2014: We’re hitting a lot of things in my family today. First off, I celebrate my parents with Golfers Day — in their retirement, they do a LOT of golfing. I don’t know if they’re good or not, since I don’t know much about actual golf (I run more toward the mini-golf myself). But I know they enjoy it, which is good enough for me. It’s also ASPCA Day, which I dedicate to our shelter cats: Trouble, Cheddar, and our beloved Comrade, who passed away last year. All three cats were/are at least partially orange, and you’re actually supposed to wear orange today to show your support of the ASPCA (founded this day way back in 1866).
Last but not leastly, this goes out to my brother, and Scott’s brothers, for National Sibling Day. You may have beat us up when we were kids, but we’re fond of you all anyway. I will admit to being fascinated by women who have sisters, as I have none. How do you relate to them? Mysterious.
